Florida gives a hull about two seasons before the sun takes the
shine out of it. We reverse that in a day at your slip, then keep it from
coming back. Priced by the foot, quoted after we have actually seen the boat.
Oxidation is not dirt. It is the surface giving up.
Ultraviolet breaks down the resin at the very top of the gelcoat and leaves a
chalk layer behind. Washing moves it around. Waxing hides it for a fortnight.
The only thing that removes it is cutting that dead layer off with an abrasive
and a machine, then putting something over the fresh surface that blocks the
light.
Which is the entire reason a detail is priced on condition and not on a menu.
A boat that has been covered for three years and a boat that has been on a lift
in full sun are the same length and nothing like the same job.
Cutting a chalked hull side back to a live surface.
The difference a cut makes
Drag it.
OxidisedCorrected
Illustrative rendering of a chalked finish, not a customer's
boat. Real correction results depend on how deep the oxidation has gone.
Packages
Priced by the foot, quoted on condition.
Rates below are starting points for a boat in reasonable shape.
Tell us the length and we will do the arithmetic. Tell us the condition and we
will tell you which tier is honestly the right one, which is not always the
expensive one.

Bilge and engine bayfrom $9 per foot

Cleaned, treated, and the vinyl fed so it stays clear.
Ceramic coating
Stop buying the same afternoon back every spring.
Wax is a sacrificial layer. It is doing its job by dying, and in this climate
it dies in about a season. A ceramic coating bonds to the corrected gelcoat and
holds gloss for years, which changes what a wash day is: a rinse and a wipe
instead of a compound and a prayer.
It is not magic and we will not sell it as such. A coating over uncorrected,
oxidised gelcoat just locks the dull in, permanently and expensively. The
correction is the product. The coating is what protects the work.
Multi-stage correction before anything is applied
Hull, topside, hardware and glass
Annual inspection included, because maintenance is what kills coatings
How mobile service works
Nothing needs arranging on your end.
At your slip
Dock, lift, driveway or dry stack. We carry water and power, so nothing needs to be arranged on your end.
Wash and decontaminate
Salt, mildew and iron come off before a single pad touches the gelcoat. Skipping this is how swirl marks happen.
Cut and polish
Compound and polish selected off the hull's actual condition, not off a package name.
Seal and inspect
Protection goes on, then we walk it with you before we leave. Nothing gets billed you have not seen.
